May Peace Prevail On Earth!
-Masahisa Goi

Peace. Peace to You. What means these words? The deep meaning of these words deserves a careful exploration. What is your relationship with yourself? Does Peace rule your life?

The fast events and happenings in our daily changing world are taking a lot from our time and energy. To "survive" it is needed a right perception of the values. What value are you according to the Peace?

The lack of Peace of Mind can affect easily the body; stress can have an direct effect on health and social behaviour, with implications in all aspects of life. Be optimistic, and let fears and fadness go far away - create and preserve the Peace of Mind.

Peace to You. Focus on Peace. Implant in your thoughts the faith in "better" and the wish for "better",for yourself and the environement, and these seeds of Peace will bring the fruits. Peace begins with the individual and reaches the nations; nothing is lost but multiplies, progression is the main law.

Peace is the greatest Blessing. We are used to sayin: "God bless you!" but we are not associating a direct blessing to this wish we expressed. The best of it would be: Peace! May Peace reach the heart, rule your mind, govern your life; may Peace increase and spread.

"He who has given up all desire, and moves free from attachment, egoism and thirst for enjoyment attains Peace".
-The Bhagavad Gita-Chapter II : 71, Gita Press,Gorakhpur,India,2003-

The wrong desires are obstacles in attaining and creating Peace, but you can win them with the clear consciousness, which breaks the lies and raises the Truth. How You can know what is Truth? Truth builds, but lies destroy. The Truth is the Peace. The Lie is the War. These propositions express the present situation of tragic events in the world.

Let s build the Peace! Make today Peace with your neighbour. Offer him the Peace You think he took from you,and you'll feel the Blessing of Peace touching You, but doubled...

How mouving are the words of Jesus Christ: "Pacem relinquo vobis, pacem meam do vobis..." (NT Joannes 14:27)

The great spiritual leaders urged mankind to create, spread and preserve peace. Peace is the only way of Happinness and Prosperity. Shalom alehem! May Peace Prevail On Earth!

May = the wish, the Peace we want and to which are tied our hopes. Here is the exclamation and desire: May!

Peace = the freedom from fear, the eternal dream of mankind, the noble purpose to attain (PAX,SALAM,SHALOM,MIR,EIRENE).

Prevail = the verb, the extension. Peace must connect all races to have a beautiful present and a bright future.

On = the indication, the material support, the place where so many terrible things happenned, but where will shine soon the Light of Peace and Brotherhood.

On can be considered also as an urging - open yourself to forgiveness, accept Peace in Your Life; be ON, don't be OFF, when it is about the Peace which must rule among us.

Peace among the nations, Peace in the World, Peace on Earth! Pray for the hot areas of the Earth. Get involved to make something for the Peace! Earth - the Blue Planet. Everything begins from here, and will end here. We are a part of the wonderful Life of this Living Star, which sometimes is disturbed by cruel acts and ignorance of some people. But finally our purpose will be accomplished and wars will end - through saying:

May Peace Prevail On Earth! Fie Pace Pe Pamint!

"The hour is striking so close above me,
so clear and sharp,
that all my senses ring with it.
I feel it now: there's a power in me
to grasp and give shape to my world
I know that nothing has ever been real
without my beholding it.
All my becoming has needed me.
My looking ripens things
and they come toward me, to meet and be met."

- Rilke, Rilke's Book of Hours
(translated by Johanna Macy Anita Barrows)
