Hawaiian Shaman Practice

Learn how to practice the path of the Adventurer shaman

The Adventurer shaman works with the forces of Nature and the powers of the mind for the healing of personal, social, and environmental conditions. The focus of this course is on practicing shamanic skills at four levels of reality: Objective, Subjective, Symbolic, and Holistic. Your instructors will be Serge Kahili King, author of Urban Shaman and Kahuna Healing, and Susan Pa'iniu Floyd, kumu (head teacher) of Aloha International's massage courses and hula troupe.

• In Session One you will learn exercises and techniques that are fundamental to the practice of Adventure shamanism, such as relieving tension, working with memories, and using your imagination.
• In Session Two you will learn how to communicate with the spirits of Nature, heal with sea crystals, work with energy, cast shaman stones, and do distant healing.
• In Session Three you will learn the techniques of dream healing, how to do Adventurer-style shaman journeys, and how to engage in Magical Flight.
• In Session Four you will learn how to grok your environment, your power animals, and the spirits of nature.
• In Session Five you will learn and practice shamanic ceremony and ritual and, with your fellow students, you will create a ritual to help with the healing of the world.

In addition to the shamanic healing work you will learn Hawaiian chanting, sacred hula, and many exercises for your personal development. Also, you will have the opportunity to participate in cultural events and optional extra activities. The course will finish with a graduation celebration.

Course Schedule:

Days 2 through 5:

Optional Sunrise Ritual.

Day 1:

8am-9am Registration and orientation.

9am-12pm training with Serge. Afternoon with Susan.

Day 2:

9am-12pm training with Serge. Afternoon with Susan.

Day 3:

9am-5pm training with Serge.

Day 4:

All day training with Susan.

Day 5:

9am-12pm training with Serge.

Graduation Celebration

Tuition fee: $1550.00, which includes tuition, materials, and graduation celebration.
60-day advance full-payment discount: $100.00.
Deposit to hold space: $250.00.
