From Kahu Serge Kahili King: The Shaman Practice Course in July, organized around the Four Levels of Reality, had a nice group of eight people from France, Canada, Germany, Iowa, and Switzerland who stayed at Kahalelehua Resort, just about halfway down the mountain from Volcano and had their formal classes at Hale Huna in Volcano Village. Susan took them out for adventures outside of the classroom and they got to see more of the island. This class ended with a graduation dinner at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel on Hilo Bay.
The Shaman Intensive Course is a new one based on study and practice with the aka patterns of the seven elements. We had a full class of twelve students from Iowa, Kentucky, UK, Germany, Canada, Switzerland, and The Netherlands. The course began with the Plant element, which involved a ritual crossing from ordinary reality into shamanic reality through a lava tube, followed by a class in the forest. The Human element class was in the Hawaiian Room of Hale Huna, the Stone and Fire elements were in Volcanoes National Park, the Water and Wind elements were at Ahalanui Hot Pond on the Puna coast, and the Animal element class took place at Panaewa Zoo near Hilo. When this group of students visited the ocean lava flow at night, Pele gave them a great show of explosive fireworks. The graduation lunch was at Volcano House in the National Park, overlooking Kilaeau Crater.
From Alakai Marina Raye: Here's an example of one result of the work in Bali Hai. Last week there was a fatality in the same unit that I mentioned to you as well as a fatal injury. When I heard about the fatal injury, I went to Bali Hai to chat with the soldier. He asked what would happen if he died. I saw a rope ladder made of golden light, and an Angel was extending her hand down to the soldier. He considered that and then said: "I want to live". I said that it was up to him to make the choice. Today, as I was driving to the Post I got a call from the 3rd brigade commander saying that yesterday they had another fatality. I decided to stop by his office to see how he was doing. He was on the phone when I walked to the office saying to someone that the injuries were not fatal after all and that the soldier will be perfectly fine, the heart was doing great, and the bruises healed. I asked if that was the soldier from last week with fatal injuries and it was.
From Alakai Peggy Kemp Miller: I'm still working with la'a kea in the car all the time. My experience of the week was this: I was coming up to a blind corner and "looked" around it to see if there was a car in my lane. This is my usual practice, and often there is. It didn't seem like a car, but there was definitely something there, so I slowed way down. When I came around the corner, there was a big duck right in the middle of my lane!
From Aga Wenta of Poland: Hello Serge, I am writing to you to let you know about the site I founded: www.duchaloha.pl This site's aim is to promote the book -"Kahuna healing" in Polish published in July 2009 - and the possible workshops on Huna, but most of all, the Aloha spirit.
From Alakai Fern Merle-Jones: Hula on Kauai has been exciting. We are getting ready for Emalani again ( Oct.10th ) and we have reinstated "the Band"- practices are fun and noisy!
From Konstantine Fach: Dear Dr. Kahili King! My name is Konstantine, I am Austrian and based in the UAE since one and a half years. I am a HUNA Student, although I have not been in any of your seminars, but I started to study HUNA 2001 with my first seminars with Eva Ulmer Janes in Vienna.
As I live in the UAE, of course I had to learn English and last year I was finely able to start to study HUNA with all of your Home study Courses and your books in English.
I am an Energy Practitioner and Therapist (Hypnotherapy, NLP, ReikiÉetc, etc) but I almost stopped to use all this techniques, even I appreciate them, because in all of the seminars I attended to learn more and more technique and wisdom for my clients É at least everything was leading back to HUNA.
So, I focused on HUNA only and it was absolutely the right decision, I spent the last year exclusively with studying HUNA and English and now I am ready to go out and share my knowledge with people in English.
As I discovered the main problems in the UAE are Diabetics, Overweight and ÒLovelessnessÓ, so, I am sure I am on the right place with starting teaching HUNA in that region. What I did also while my HUNA study, I developed special programs Ð at the moment two Ð they are called ÒThe Secret of Losing WeightÓ and ÒINSTANT GOLF MasteryÓ (because I love Golf).
In my daily work with people I discovered, that obviously healthy people are not very interested in Healing or preventive Health, so I packed HUNA Healing in topics of their everyday lifeÕs. I had the idea to create a Guide-Series called ÒThe HUNA Instants GuidesÓ with special topics. The next guide I plan is about relationships and I want to continue with every topic, which are interesting to people, like job and money etcÉ.so they get their topic of current interest, but theyÕll know that they can use this knowledge for healings as well.
My target is to train people in HUNA Philosophy as PEACEMAKERS and all this special programs. Then, as my next step to open up a Trainings-Center called the ÒThe HUNA-PEACEMAKER Village.Ó I would like to work in the UAE as a kind of part of your organization. My idea is that these guides will help me as a background to do some PR, Events and Promotion for the PEACEMAKER Village. (I created a little website http://myhouseofharmony.com
